About Us
Safely Transporting Our School Children Since 1932
W.T. Holmes Transportation was founded in 1932 by Walter T. Holmes. The company began with just one school bus operating in the town of Norfolk. His son Richard Holmes, continued to grow the business to its current capacity of over 160 buses servicing numerous school systems. Our family owned and operating business was built with a “hands on” approach. As those values have carried through each generation, our employees take pride in each and every task. Whether we are ensuring every bus is in safe conditions, implementing proper training for all employees, or developing lasting relationships with every school and family we service, our employees take pride in everything we do.
